I've always liked maps, I still do. I ended up as a cartographer. Geographer-cartographer, to be more precise. My area of interest in cartometry, geometric qualities of early maps, comprehensive approach to early maps (that was my PhD main topic) and use of them in past landscapes analyses. I've been working in a cartographic company for 5 years, making tourist maps and car navigation (among other), now I'm back at a university (I could say "finally", but not on my alma mater). It's not a final step maybe (looking into the future when digging in maps of the past...).
