This cartouche is used by the surveyor Jacob Spoors to decorate his manuscript map of the region of Berkel in Delfland, dated 1675. It is a printed cartouche of c. 21.5 cms high and c. 17 cms wide, carefully cut out and pasted on the map. The title is added in manuscript. For a publication showing the most beautiful/important maps in the archives of the Hoogheemraadschap van Delfland, the editors would like to know from which map or book this cartouche is cut.

Who can help them?
